I'm Shawnique, and I run Sshalor Creative Co! I am an artist and mental health enthusiast based in Toronto, Canada. What started as a personal exploration has blossomed into a platform where art and personal development seamlessly intersect.

My personal development journey began in 2015 when I found myself trapped in a cycle of exhaustion and apathy. Searching for peace, I experimented with various strategies and, through trial and error, discovered ways to cultivate a better mindset.

This journey of self-discovery unveiled my love for art. In 2017, I started painting, drawing inspiration from black women as my muses and celebrating the beauty of our diverse aesthetic as a culture. The more feedback I received, the more my passion grew.

By 2020, I merged art and self-improvement into the platform you see today. Sshalor Creative Co. is now a love story to my healing journey and a space where you can discover artwork in various mediums, along with tools to aid you on your own healing journey.
